How to reboot your device into recovery mode

***There are several options to boot into a custom recovery image***
########For Windows User########
#First method(works with both rooted & non-rooted devices)
Using your big screen box(computer),your device,USB Cable
1.No ANDROID SDK Bundle,you just need some binaries.
2.Download adb here(2.25 MB).
3.Extract adb.zip & copy adb.exe,AdbWinApi.dll,AdbWinUsbApi.dll to C:\WINDOWS\system32 (for future ease)
4.Right click on android_usb.inf,android_winusb.inf & click install.
###Drivers are now installed
5.Enable USB debugging in your device.
a)For 2.3 & lower devices
1.GOTO settings->Applications
b)For 4.0 & above devices
1.GOTO Settings->Developer options->USB debugging
5.Now connect your device with your PC.If there is any problem while installation of your device(can be with LG devices) .install this or universal(for all devices).
6.Now open command prompt(cmd.exe) and simply write
adb reboot recovery

1.Download adb for linux here(142 KB)
2.Extract adblinux.zip
########For UBUNTU users#######
a)open Terminal(ctrl+alt+t).
b)write this
sudo nautilus
c)File explorer will open.Now copy adb extracted from adblinux.zip to /bin(located under filesystem)
d)when succesfully pasted adb,right click on adb & open properties.
e)goto permissions tab & select
owner:root
access:Read & write
group:root
access:Read & write
others
access:read & write
*tick allow executing file as program.
Everyting done now you can directly use adb commands using terminal.
Now close window opened by terminal.
f)Simply connect your device with PC & open terminal
write this
sudo adb reboot recovery
